WHY WE LOVE EXPOSED BEAMS AND TRUSSES

(Remember this project?)
There’s nothing quite like the moment a crane lifts trusses into place—suddenly your framing goes from “flat puzzle” to “oh dang, it’s really happening.” If you caught our recent Instagram reel 🎥, you saw our crew in action lifting and securing those big beauties: pre-engineered roof trusses and exposed beams that are as functional as they are good-lookin’.
We’re not gonna lie—this part of the build is kind of a fan favorite. It’s the architectural equivalent of putting up the tent poles at a festival. Everything’s been leading up to this moment: the plans, the prep, the permits… and now? We’re officially raising the roof.

WHAT'S SO GREAT ABOUT EXPOSED BEAMS?
Aside from being extremely photogenic (seriously, go look at that reel), exposed beams are a great way to add character, warmth, and a little bit of drama to a space. They work especially well in vaulted ceilings or open-concept designs where structure becomes style.
They’re not just for show, though—those beams are doing some heavy lifting (literally). The beauty of this design-build process is that we get to work hand-in-hand with our clients and structural engineers to create something that’s both safe and stunning.
WHY WE LOVE TRUSSES
Pre-fab trusses are a game-changer. They allow for faster, more efficient roof builds with fewer surprises. They’re engineered offsite to meet exact specs, which means less waste, faster installs, and more time to focus on the finishing touches.
Plus, watching them swing through the air on a crane? Kinda magical. And yes, our crew might’ve paused for a few seconds of dramatic admiration. It’s basically the fireworks show of framing day.
GOT A PROJECT THAT NEEDS A STRONG FOUNDATION (AND A STYLISH CEILING)?
Whether you’ve got your own plans already or want to work with us from scratch, we’re here for it. We offer full-service design-build and construction from existing plans—so if you’re looking to add some exposed-beam magic to your next remodel, we should talk.
